GOD I'M BOARD!!!! I'm just sitting here listening to the Beatles and trying to think of a song to bring in for Writters Workshop. We have to bring in a cd w/our favourite song so the class can hear it then you have to explain to THE WHOLE CLASS why you love the song and tell them about it! I've narrowed it down to 2 songs: the obvious: Always Look on the Bright Side of Life~Eric Idle or Here Comes the Sun~Beatles. I am so screwed! I have been thinking to just blow the whole thing off and get the zero. But I don't think my grade can afford a zero right now! :( Mamilla says I should bring in my Monty Python Sings cd w/Always Look....Bright side of life on it! She says that that song IS my all time favourite song (which it is) and it has a good meaning behind it. And I really want to bring it in, it always makes me feel good, and It DOES have a good meaning......etc. The only thing is Mr. Idle says the word Shit in it and I dunno what the teacher will do? PLUS and this is even worse!! On the Monty Python Sings cd, RIGHT after Always Look on the Bright Side, comes Sit on My Face. So I dunno what to do! The Beatles is not really original though are they? But Here Comes the Sun is another one of my all time fav songs! Always Look on the Bright Side would be ok if they let ME work the damn cd player so I can stop it ASAP when it's over! I dunno what i'm gonna do, I have till next week atleast. So I would like to ask you guys, my 'readers' If you had to do this assignment, or if you've already done it, what song would/did YOU bring in and why?
