My Christmas was WONDERFUL! I got alot of groovy stuff. I'll make a list of the bestest stuff I got just to make it kinda quick:
-KITH DVDs (from Liz)
-The Wrong Guy Poster (from Liz)
-Boys are Stupid Poster (from Andi)
-ORIGINAL 1986 Monkees Scrap Book! (from Cinnie)
-Michael Nesmith: Live at the Britt Festival(from Cinnie)
-The Pythons Autobiography (from mum)
-Python Calender (from Dad)
-The Meaning of Life DVD (from uncle)
My dad and Dwayna got me a bunch of candles and bath stuff. I'm so spoiled it isn't funny. I had hoped that I would have gotten The Monkees Season 2 but I didn't. But I got an assload of X-mas money so hopefully I can buy it!!
Christmas Eve we went to my grandmas house and dealed w/ my VERY disfuntional family.(as soon as someone gets up to go to the bathroom or something they start talking about them! crazyness!) My Aunt Kitty(who taught me to knit) saw my scarf that i'm STILL working on and she gave me the biggest hug.(she like NEVER does that to me) adn then embarressed me by showing the whole family part of my scarf and telling everyone that she was the one that taught me how to knit. She seemed so proud, even though I was embarressed it made me feel good to see that she was so pround and happy! I was telling her how this was my 3rd time on the scarf because I keep messing up and skipping a stitch and she broke my heart by telling me that if I skip a stitch I don't need to pull the whole thing out I can fix it w/a Crochet hook!?! So next visit she's going to show me how to do that. I really wish she lived closer!
Christmas Day we went to Dad's and spent the day watching alot of those old Bliblical movies. It was hilarious to my dad because I Haevn't seen them in a LONG time so my uncle would explain a part of the movie by using something from The Life of Brian. Which was sad yet funny at the same time.(well dad thought it was)
Then Lizzy came for New Years Eve and it was awsome to spend it with a friend! We drank, played cards, listened to music and went over all the stuff that happened this year (which I shall share w/you wonderful people! I don't know what other year in my life could top this one!
January- I opened up my Crissy website on the 1st.(and on Dave's Birthday I got a VERY awsome email that I shall NEVER forget from a VERY special person! dunno if I should say who, pretty sure you could guess though :-) maybe not?)
March- Liz and me meet for the first time when we go to see Margaret Cho in Chicago.
April- On the 3rd we met Michael Palin (TWICE)and I cannot forget the other members of the chicago 7!!! The 25th I became a "real" adult.(turned 18) and a few days afterwards I got kicked out of school.(guess I didn't start off being an adult to well :-(
June/July- Monkees obession gets really bad!
August-Liz and Me go to Toronto for a whole week!
October- On the 1st Lizzy and Me see Eddie on his Sexie Tour. The 18th(Liz' b-day) We see Davy Jones in Lockport, IL. Then on the 29th another life goal is lived because we went to see Barenaked Ladies in Milwaukee!
November- Me and Liz spend a weekend in Chicago and see both of Eric Idle's shows on his Chicago leg of his Greedy Bastard Tour. Another life goal lived that I didn't even know I had: I talked to Eric and got a hug and kiss!!!
December- One of my best Christmas' ever! I got lots of WONDERFUL cards from my very dear online friends and really awsome gifts!
